Anderson Silva obviously isn't concerned about the size of Forrest Griffin. Apparently, a light heavyweight is only a light snack for "The Spider".
Yahoo News reports:
White said that Silva also expressed an interest in fighting heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko, who is under contract with Affliction. White has made several attempts to sign Emelianenko, none successful.
Soares (Silva's manager) confirmed that Silva would like a fight with Emelianenko and said that size wouldn’t be an issue. Silva walks around between fights at 215 and Emelianenko fights around 230.
‶We’d come in at about 220 if we ever got that fight,” Soares said. ‶Anderson thinks that would be a great fight for him. He didn’t say he expected to blow him out, but he thinks he can give him a very good fight.”

The great Anderson Silva has decided that he needs to follow in the footsteps of E. Fedor and take an unlimited amount of time off before his next fight. Silva is adopting the same workout regime of the World's Greatest Heavyweight non fighting, hiding, over eating, over hyped E. Fedor and has decided to go on vacation for a few months, or years, gain a little fat muscle and get ready to beat up Roy Jones Jr. Right after he beats up Fearless Frankie Mir.
Silva is exhausted after rolling for 2 days with Big Nog and watching Nate Marquardt defeat Demian Maia. It took a lot of the UFC champion and he said he doesn't feel motivated to train, work out, lift weights, of watch his diet for a few dozen months of so, even going so far as to suggest that the UFC put the title up as an "interim title" and let Marquardt and Dan Henderson fight for it. The UFC did not like the idea but is willing to consider doing anything necessary to kiss Silva's butt and keep him from going to Strikeforce or getting beat to death in 30 seconds when he tries to become a Professional Boxer or a street fighter like the great Kimbo Slice who can easily beat E. Fedor in a street fight.
Silva's manager Soares says his fighter is tired, and needs time to recuperate,
"He'll take a rest... he's fought twice this year," he said. "He's got three fights left on his contract. He wants to work out a little kinks and bruises that he's got. He wants to take a little break."
Dana White isnot overly concerned and made this statement,
"I'm in a good position (with the) 185-pound division right now," he told MMAWeekly.com in an exclusive interview. "It's a good problem to have. A bad problem to have is Anderson Silva and nobody to fight him at 185 pounds. Also have the Anderson Silva that can go to 205 and fight some of the best guys at 205, possibly fight for the title, possibly fight Lyoto Machida in a superfight."
So it appears that Silva will go on the E. Fedor diet to bulk up for a possible fight with Fearless Frankie Mir, but White does not like that idea and has made the brilliant suggestion,
"He'll box Roy Jones before he fights heavyweight, let's put it that way," said White.
Whatever happens it will mean that the UFC fans won't get to see A Silva for quite a long time and that is fine by me. The longer we go without seeing him the more I like it. I would however like to see him fight Mir, cripple him and then point at him like the Mighty Brock Lesnar did, to help teach him proper ediquette, and then jump to Strikeforce and knock out Fedor, which should be easy. Don't you agree.

No ale jak si byego mistrza upokarza w taki sposb, to jest to troch demotywujce.
W ogle to myl, e mu si ju nie chce walczy w MMA. Osign poziom nieosigalny dla prawie wszystkich i rozglda si co by tu dalej robi.
